A Time Called You is a story about Joon-hee, who is grieving the loss of her lover Yeon-joon in the year 2023, a year after his death. She somehow goes back in time to 1998 and wakes up in the body of a different person, 18-year-old Min-joo. As she travels through this new reality, she meets Si-heon, who bears an uncanny resemblance to her dead lover, adding to the emotional complexity of her journey.

A Time Called You 2023 Ending Explained –
Si-heon’s character was actually planning all this in his original body, where one of his legs was damaged due to an accident upon returning to Korea. His character meets Joon Hee in the present and explains everything. The two vow to change the ending and let Min Joo and In Gyu survive the 1998 case. The ending is not as simple as you think. When she time travels again, Joon Hee gets stuck where Min Joo used to be and she wakes up in her own body. She tries hard to imitate Joon Hee’s personality, which everyone is attracted to but fails miserably.
1998’s Si-heon on the other hand immediately realizes that she is not the one he fell in love with and begins to believe Han Joon Hee’s story. Frustrated by all this, Min Joo tries to take her own life, but later she plans to have someone kill her so that everyone will remember her in history. Joon-hee tries hard to convince her but she refuses. After waking up in the present, Joon Hee goes to 2023 and says goodbye to everything with her and Yeon Joon, because she knows that once she changes the past, the future will never be the same and she goes back to the past. Goes there, where she succeeds in saving Min. She asks Si-heon to find her in any timeline and asks In-gyu to destroy the cassette. Everything disappears upon return. Now Han Joon Hee and Koo Yeon Joon were no more.
A Time Called You 2023 Reviews –
This is a terrific drama, 5 stars hands down! You just have to ignore your logical mind and just flow with the story. Also please pay attention to the details and names in the first episode so you don’t get confused as the story unfolds. Kwon Min-joo and Han Jun-hee played by the same actress Jeon Ye-been are two different persons in this time travel drama. Thumb’s up to FL JYB who pulled off portraying two contrasting personalities extremely well which is essential and important in this drama. ML Ahn Hyo-seop was also very good. The entire cast did well. This drama has a great love story. It is heartwarming, emotional, funny, and yet has many twists and turns to keep you engaged so you might feel like watching the entire 12 episodes in one sitting. Kudos to the writer(s) who came up with this unique story and everyone who made this drama possible. A must watch in my opinion.
This was such a roller-coaster ride! The early episodes are your tragic/romance love story, and I get it, it starts out confusing, but believe me everything aligns itself smoothly in the end. Then you have the middle part: light-hearted, funny, and sweet. The last few episodes get really dark, and you’ll feel like you’re watching a thriller/suspense at this point. It’s sooo mindblowing to learn all the twists. I haven’t seen a series with so many surprises and twists, except maybe Mouse, but it’s so worth the watch! I’m not sure why some people didn’t like the ending. For me it was the most sensible, perfect end to the drama. I don’t feel it was sad at all. It was like the start of something beautiful, and they’ve left the rest to the audience’s imagination. Well-acted, well-executed, beautiful cinematography. This was a solid 10/10!
