Barsatein Episode 1 titled “Aradhana Ki Life Ka Toofan” is released on 10th July 2023 on Sony LIV App. Here is the Written Episode of Barsatein Serial. The show’s lead actress Shivangi Joshi is playing the role of Aradhana Sahni and lead actor Kushal Tandon is playing the role of Reyansh Lama.
The Episode starts with a cafe where Aradhana is sitting with her friend. A waiter comes and serves coffee with a heart shape, seeing which Aradhana says to remove it because coffee is bitter, why heart shape on it? On Aradhana’s friend says to take this coffee and put 2 shots of rum. Then Aradhana says that yes it is true that coffee will not let me sleep and rum will not let me feel that is what I want. On this, her friend says that since when have you become Devdas, then Aradhana says that I am a bigger loser than Devdas. Her friend says to drink this copy and wake up the Aradhana in you who was the most focused, driven, sensible, and ambitious girl amongst us. Then Aradhana says that she fell into the trap and a friend says that she fall in love and on this Aradhana says at least you don’t taunt me. Then the friend says to see your condition first. Aradhana says that there is a lot of pain, she can’t breathe, it’s unsteady, and she have palpitations. Then the friend says these are the symptoms of a heart attack. Aradhana says that it was surely an attack. friend says that you are a drama queen. please drink this coffee and tell me your story.
Aradhana says to her friend “You just said that I used to be a simple, middle-class girl. I loved only my work. And Then? A storm!” 6 Months earlier, This story started six months ago. A car stops in front of the hotel, out of which a minister and four bodyguards come out and come to the hotel. The owner of the hotel welcomes him and asks him to sit, then the minister says that he will not sit in public. Then the hotel owner says, you order, Minister Sahib, the whole hotel is yours, then he is taken inside the room and here Reyansh Lama is shown for the first time with a black hoodie and black goggles, who chases these ministers. And Aradhana’s voice in the background when she says ‘A storm comes unannounced. first, we mistake it for a breeze and think that it would caress us but when it finally arrives, we realize it came for destruction. My life was hit by such a storm. The weather was about to change and the direction of the wind too. and I had no clue.’
Reyansh goes to the van and hands over the Pendrive. They witness a meeting in progress. Reyansh had installed cameras there. He broadcasts a live conversation between Khosla and a wealthy man. He delivers the breaking news and exposes Khosla through a secret operation. Aradhna watches the news and expresses her desire to interview Khosla. Her uncle advises against it, mentioning that they work for a small company and prefer viral stories. Aradhna returns home and finds her parents watching the news. She wishes to write real news like Reyansh but feels it’s not in her destiny. Bhakti suggests she should have joined them at the clinic, and Harsh agrees.
Aradhna accuses them of constantly demotivating her. Sharma ji arrives with pakodas, and Aradhna expresses her frustration about not being able to accomplish anything. She asks if the hotel shown on TV belongs to Reyansh. The girl confirms it and suggests checking social media for more information. Aradhna starts learning more about Reyansh’s affluent family background. She discovers that Reyansh saved his father’s business by exposing Khosla and realizes that everyone in his family was involved. She contemplates how to uncover the truth. Her sister mentions that the Lambas are hosting a party next week, and Pooja offers to help Aradhna attend the party.
A week later, Reyansh’s father is eagerly preparing to welcome someone. Reyansh informs him that the person won’t be coming and advises him not to waste his energy. Reyansh’s father hopes that one-day Reyansh will fall in love. Aradhana meets both Reyansh and his father. Reyansh’s father is impressed by Aradhana because she shares his interest in reading physical books. She then gains access to a room where important files are kept. Aradhana collects evidence against Reyansh to reveal that his story about Koasla was actually for his own benefit. While bumping into Reyansh, she quickly leaves, leaving him and his friends confused by her behavior.
Ardhana’s boss/uncle Dharam tells her that they have a major news story now. When she arrives home, she plays the news and asks everyone to be happy for her because her news is about to be featured. They see news of Dharam apologizing to Reyansh to avoid a legal case. Aradhana says she has to go to the office and leave. She states that she has a significant story, but she took a step back. Dharam tells her she made a mistake, but she insists that she has proof. Reyansh argues that she trespassed into their house and stole things, which is not cool. He mentions that his dad ended a partnership with the corrupt Khosla, and he broke his family apart without considering the profits. He believes honesty is rare and points out that she thinks being successful and wealthy means being a thief. Reyansh adds that he will sue her company. Dharam tries to stop him and tells Aradhana that she is fired. Aradhana admits that maybe she made a mistake and that Reyansh’s dad may be right. She clarifies that her intention was to expose a true story, and she has no problem leaving. She then leaves. but Reyansh’s father arrives and hires her in their office.
Currently, Aradhana’s friend asks her what happened next. Her friend inquires about the events that followed. The waiter informs them that the coffee shop is about to close. Aradhana and her friend decide to leave. She mentions that it’s raining in Delhi, which somehow relates to her life. She explains that she joined Reyansh’s office where he was not only talented but also had a reputation as a respected journalist who always spoke the truth. Reyansh calls out to everyone, asking for a compelling story. He specifically asks Aradhana about her story. Both Aradhana and Reyansh engage in a heated argument regarding the innocence of a film director and an actress involved. Aradhana presents evidence in support of the actress. In an unusual form of appreciation, Reyansh slaps her on the back, but Aradhana feels offended by the gesture. To her surprise and frustration, she slaps him back. The office staff witnesses the incident, and Aradhana decides to leave.
