Review – Mirai comes across as a bold Telugu fantasy drama that combines Indian mythology, anime-inspired action, and modern storytelling to create a unique experience, and the core story follows Vedha, played by Teja Sajja, who begins as a confused young man with no clear purpose but soon learns from a sanyasini that he holds a bigger role in protecting the world from Mahabir Lama, the dark sorcerer played by Manchu Manoj, who seeks divine books that give him unstoppable power, and this conflict sets the stage for a journey filled with battles, transformations, and emotional tests.
Positive Review of Mirai
The positive side of the film shines through in its ambition, because the makers attempt something rarely seen in Telugu cinema with large-scale action sequences, grand visual effects, and mythological elements that connect with cultural roots, and Teja Sajja proves again that he can carry an unconventional role with energy, while Manchu Manoj delivers a strong villain performance with intensity that adds weight to the story, and Shriya Saran adds grace and emotional depth in a limited but important role, which helps balance the drama. The music and background score push up the impact of crucial scenes, especially during fight sequences and mythic revelations, and some moments like the train sequence, temple fight, and climax create genuine excitement for the audience, and this ambition deserves applause because it pushes Telugu cinema into a new space that feels fresh and different.
Negetive Review of Mirai
At the same time, the film struggles with a few negatives that hold it back from greatness, because the first half spends too much time building setup and background, which slows the pace and makes the audience wait too long for the main conflict to take shape, and the second half, while more action-packed, sometimes becomes predictable since the hero’s transformation and the villain’s obsession follow a familiar path, and even though the visuals look impressive in many scenes.
After the climax, Rana Daggubati makes a powerful cameo, which reveals the title of Mirai Part 2: Jaitheya, where he will take on the role of the main villain and set the stage for an even bigger battle in the sequel.
Fans Reaction/Comments – Ye young hero dikha raha hai ki aaj ke audience ko kis type ki films pasand aati hain. Ek aisa banda jo 100% effort deta hai. Kudos, Teja Sajja. Teja Sajja already proved himself in Hanuman that he is born for these types of Cinema🔥 The best VFX in the Telugu industry I have seen in a trailer after Baahubali. Tollywood is truly breaking records in VFX. I’ve already watched this movie. High-quality rating: 9/10. This is amazing. A series of movies can be made on our Sanatan mythology.
