The official announcement of Akshay Kumar’s Shankara film is yet to be made but according to some reports, the film is based on Sir Chettur Sankaran Nair. The film’s title will be The Untold Story of C Shankar Nair or Shankara. Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan play the role of a lawyer and activist in the film. And Ananya Panday is playing the role of his junior.
Akshay Kumar and Ananya Pandey have been seen shooting for this film in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. This film can be released in 2024. The film is set against the backdrop of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre and stars Akshay Kumar as C Sankaran Nair, who fought against the British Raj to uncover the truth about the massacre. Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi and produced by Dharma Productions in association with Leo Media Collective.
